Beginning Mosaic Class

Students will create a 6" x 6" mosaic using a variety of colorful ceramic tiles: petals, leaves, tiny flowers and rectangles. The mosaic will be created in a high quality steel frame. No tools are required for this class. We will meet for three hours and the final class, when we will grout our work meets for two and a half hours. For up to ten students. $1,150.00

 

Tile Workshop

This three hour workshop is a great opportunity to learn basic mosaic skills. Students will learn how to use tile nippers and how to adhere. A variety of beautiful plate shards, ceramic and glass tiles and a few fancy doo dads will be combined to create a one of a kind piece of art. Students may bring crockery from home. The tile will be for interior use only. Grout service included. For up to ten students. $600.00

Magnet Workshop

This is a fun class for children ages ten and up. Students will create several jar lid mosaic magnets. With the use of a fast drying adhesive film we will be able to grout our mosaics in class. Be sure to bring a smock or apron as grouting can get messy. This class lasts for two and a half hours. For up to ten students. $350.00

Wine Glass Workshop

Students will spend a relaxing evening or afternoon creating a mosaic on the base of a wine glass. Tiny tiles, stained glass shards and beads are among the tesserae (mosaic elements) that we will be using. This workshop is two hours long. Grout service is included. For up to ten students. $450.00
